Last minute touches are being made to the first Tintamarre music festival at Belvoir Castle this weekend.

Hundreds of people are expected to attend to hear a host of top performers.

On Saturday, Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet will take to the stage to perform classics such as True and Gold.

Joining him in the line-up are Belinda Carlisle, Bananarama, ABC, Kim Wilde, Howard Jones, Go West, and Mica Paris.

On Sunday, UB40 will be on stage performing their extensive repertoire including Red Red Wine, Can’t Help Falling In Love, One In Ten, Food For Thought, and Kingston Town.

Joining them will be The Blockheads, Midge Ure, 10CC, Steve Harley of Cockney Rebel fame, and Kid Creole And The Coconuts.

In addition to the main stage, there will be a Big Top with a variety of activities during the weekend including acoustic sets on the Friday night for weekend campers arriving early.

A cinema will be set up in a marquee playing classic films throughout the weekend.

For those wishing to continue the party after the music stops on the main stage there will be a headphone disco.

Across the weekend there will be a fun fair, an interactive children’s play area complete with face-painters and clowns, and a craft market.
