A new season of the monthly Magners Funhouse Comedy Club nights starts on Thursday, September 16, upstairs at the Thanal Indian Restaurant, Newark.

Topping the bill is Comedy Store favourite Roger Monkhouse. He is described as a brilliant improviser with an second to none ability at finding the funny side in just about anything.

Completing the line-up is Mancunian impressionist and gagster Matt Seber. A former teacher, he is considered one of the rising stars on the circuit.

The show, which starts at 9pm, is compered by Coalville-based funnyman Alan Seaman.
