Members of Newark Choral Society and Newark and Sherwood Concert Band join forces for the first time to present Music For Christmas.

The event takes place in Barnbygate Methodist Church, Newark, on Saturday, December 22 at 7.30pm.

Conductor Roger Bryan said: “This is an entertaining Christmas concert for all the family. The programme includes many well-known carols which the audience will be able to join in and special pieces prepared by the society and band.”

Society chairman Mike Wilson said: “With the concert being so close to Christmas day we aim to get everyone in the right mode to enjoy the festive season.”

Tickets are available from RST Music in Cartergate, Newark, or from choir and band members.
