Graduate to feature in choral concert

SOLOIST LUCY HALL
A prize-winning graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama will join Nottingham Bach Choir, orchestra and soloists in a performance of some of the finest and vocally-demanding Baroque choral music written.
She is Lucy Hall, a former soprano soloist with Cantamus Girls Choir.
Lucy recently won the first prize at the Oxford Lieder Festival Young Artist Platform. At the concert in Southwell Minster a week on Saturday at 7.30pm, she will be joined by Sarah Redgwick, Jeremy Jepson, Joseph Cornwell and Julian Tovey. They will perform Handel’s virtuoso setting of Dixit Dominus (Psalm 110), Utrecht Te Deum, which was commissioned by Queen Anne in thanksgiving for the Treaty of Utrech, and JS Bach’s Magnificat, conducted by the minster’s Rector Chori Paul Hale.
