Musical nostalgia dominates
Friday 18th June, 2010 - Theatre Royal, Lincoln
Rock ‘n’ roll is back at the Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Friday, June 18, when That’ll Be The Day returns with a new show for 2010.
This time, the cast presents The Beat Goes On Tour featuring music from the 1959s to the 1970s and comedy routines.
Here Come The Boys on Saturday, June 19, gives women a chance to escape from the World Cup for a few hours. The dance troupe, with singer Nikk Mager, combines live music and hot dance routines. Theatregoers will be taken back in time when We’ll Meet Again returns on Monday, June 21, at 2.30pm. It includes songs from Vera Lynn, Bing Crosby, George Formby and Al Jolson. The Lindum Light Opera Company from Lincoln performs Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado from June 22-26. It will be followed by The Drifters in concert on Sunday, June 27. They will perform hits such as There Goes My First Love, Under The Boardwalk, On Broadway, Saturday Night At The Movies, and Kissing In The Back Row.
