Putting heart into support
Tuesday 13th April, 2010 - Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity will show why the public took them to their hearts at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday, April 13.

The dance group will show off all their winning moves.

They will be supported by the pop duo, Mini Viva — Britt Love (21) of South Shields and Frankee Connolly (20) of Manchester.

Their debut single, Left My Heart In Tokyo, was a top ten hit in September.

The duo were last at the venue supporting The Saturdays.

Mini and Viva are the nicknames that the girls have for each other.

Britt is called Mini because she reminds Frankee of Minnie Mouse while Frankee is Viva for vivacious.

Britt said: “We get compared to Mel and Kim a lot so all we need now are the shoulder pads.

“Our music is quite 1980s in style — high energy with lots of dance routines. Since we supported The Saturdays we have been rehearsing a lot so our routines are slicker and better.”

The pair got together after answering an advert to put a band together.

“The producers thought we would do well together and we just clicked and that was that,” Britt said.

“We began living together and recording our music and next minute we were on the road with The Saturdays.”

The pair, who write their own songs, will travel to the US later this year to promote Left My Heart In Tokyo.

They are also busy working on their album, due for release in September and are looking forward to performing at the Isle of Wight festival.
