Music For Royal Occasions is the theme of the East Of England Singers’ concert in St Mary’s Church, Nottingham, on Saturday, January 14, at 7.30pm.

The event marks the beginning of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Year and the singers will be accompanied by New Classical Players.

Conducted by Angela Kay, the programme comprises Handel’s Music For The Royal Fireworks and stately coronation themes composed for George II and Queen Caroline.
