Once Upon A Time In The... Wild West
CHAMPION, the Wonder Horse, with Tony Raby-Fielding as Miss TrixieBelle.
A fun, family-friendly show, featuring gorgeous costumes, groan-worthy jokes, lively song and dance routines, lots of audience participation and its very own panto band Hill Billy Hokum will be presented by the Action Community Theatre Company.
Once Upon A Time In The... Wild West is being staged a the Terry O’Toole Theatre, North Hykeham, from Wednesday, January 18, to Saturday, January 21, at 7pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Written by local Peta Duncombe, it sees feisty Miss TrixieBelle facing ruination when villainous Black Jack McGuire hatches a dastardly plan to close down her Last Chance Saloon. Nonetheless the good-hearted folks of Deadwood Gulch rally round for a showdown at the hoedown. Local actor Tony Fielding-Raby returns by popular demand to play Miss TrixieBelle, while the sound and lighting is designed and operated by Andy Swinney, of Newark. Director Al Duncombe, musical director Heather Benson and choreographer Amy Dalton are joined by a cast of more than 30, aged from 11 to 70 in this community venture, and Champion, the Wonder Horse.
