The King and Queen of the ballroom have been professional partners for more than 14 years.

Next year’s extensive tour will feature performances encapsulating the glitz, glamour and elegance of a classic era.

The show, presented by Raymond Gubbay, will see Anton and Erin dazzle audiences with their charm, wit and ballroom magic.

They will be joined by singer Lance Ellington, guest dancers and a live orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe.

The packed programme will include music from George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Kander and Ebb and Cole Porter featuring classic hits such as An American In Paris, Fascinating Rhythm, It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing), Cavatina, The Blue Danube Waltz and Don’t Rain On My Parade.

Anton said: “Erin and I love the connection we make with a live audience.

“We are delighted that as well as making a welcome return to many venues around the country we look forward to performing at several new locations for the first time.”

The couple’s journey began when the pair first met in 1997.

Within a year they won the New Zealand Championships.

They also made it to the International Dance Championships at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

They turned professional in 2002 and were placed third in the UK in their first professional competition in Blackpool. Wins and accolades followed.

The pair caught the eye of the BBC and were chosen to star in the first series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2004, and they have been appearing on the hit television show ever since.

They have starred in the sell-out tours, Anton And Erin Cheek To Cheek, Anton And Erin Stepping Out and Anton And Erin Puttin’ On The Ritz.

The latest tour visits the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, on February 8. Tickets are on sale.
