The two-day event featured handbags, scarves, wooden toys and plants.

Children had the chance to hold owls, kestrels and other birds of prey from the Kilton Pet and Raptor Rescue Centre.

The fair, which visits Bingham about three times a year, tours the East Midlands.

Organiser Mr Alan Woolley said: “We had one lady selling plants and flowers. That was very popular ahead of Mother’s Day.

“We like to try to encourage local crafters to come along and we got four craft stalls from Bingham.

“A lot of people follow us around the East Midlands.

“Bingham is a nice town and has a great atmosphere when we visit. Despite the weather I was pleased with the turnout.”

The next fair is on July 26 and 27.
