Around 50 Scalextric collectors indulged their passion at a swap meet at Collingham Cricket Club on Sunday.
Enthusiasts from as far away as London and Suffolk attended.
Dealers sold models ranging from the most recent releases to those dating back to the 1950s.
A member of the cricket club’s committee, Mr Roger Barker, who is also a member of the National Scalextric Collectors’ Club, organised the event.
Mr Barker (48) of High Street, Collingham, fell in love with the slot car racing game as a youngster after visits to Mr Ken Coyne’s toy shop on Middlegate, Newark.
Mr Barker said he hoped a similar event could be held next year, possibly on a larger scale involving other motoring interests such as custom-made and classic cars.
He said the club wanted to use its facilities to hold events that generated a community spirit in the village and surrounding district.
“We want to make the club more of a village focal point,” he said.
