Children have brightened up the approach to their school by creating artwork for the boundary fence.
Pupils at work on the artwork are, left to right, Benjamin Walton, 11, Josh Robb, 10, Adam Eurich, 10, and Harry Simpson, 10.
Pupils at Oliver Quibell infants’ and Hawtonville junior schools, Newark, known as the Cleveland Green Federation, worked with artist Kerry O’Brien.
Their work depicts scenes such as children working, thinking and playing.
The head of Hawtonville junior, Jackie Warren, said: “The work will really brighten up the front of the school and alert drivers to the fact that there are children around.”
