It was part of Enterprise Week at Toot Hill School, Bingham.

The pupils, aged 11-14, set up stalls selling everything from jewellery, plant pots and jams and chutneys, to vintage clothes and bags.

More than 1,000 people visited, helping to raise £4,000 for various charities.

Five stalls had an Apprentice-style challenge, competing to make the most money.

Fifty dancers performed on the day and the Toot Hill Band played in the Buttercross before selling copies of their CD.

On Monday, pupils met author Mrs Jo Farrell, of Flintham, who explained how she created her characters to try to inspire the next generation of authors.
