Santa has been in Bingham and surrounding villages raising money for local charities.
Volunteers from the Vale of Belvoir Lions were out in force with Santa to spread some festive cheer.
The money is for Dove Cottage Hospice, Melton Mowbray, and other charities. The Lions are looking to top the £4,500 raised last year.
Chairman Mr Andy Potts said: “There is a community service aspect to it and it’s nice to see people bringing their children out to talk to Santa.
“It’s a great fundraiser for us. It gets bigger and better every year.”
The organisation holds its annual Boxing Day duck race on the River Devon, Bottesford. It starts at Wash Dyke Bridge at 11am.
