Three vehicle pile-up on the A46 caused severe delays

The emergency services attended a crash between two cars and a van on the A46 between Bingham and Newark during today's rush hour.

The 8am smash caused delays of up to an hour as the dual carriageway towards Newark is down to one lane withe other coned off.

Two people were taken to hospital for checks and one other was checked over by ambulance crews at the scene.
