Six paintings of Newark and Newark Parish Church are on show in the Town Hall’s Spotlight gallery.

The paintings, by Upton-based artist Susan Isaac show the town from a series of different view points and are called Newark Townscapes.
The paintings follow in a tradition of artists who have painted views of the town over the last 350 years, including 19th Century painter Joseph Paul whose six large oil paintings hang in the Town Hall.
The exhibition runs until November 13.
The gallery is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Saturday.
