Children had an international feel to their Friday when they dressed in colours of world flags for a school project.

Nearly 90 pupils at Chuter Ede Primary School’s Balderton and Fernwood sites — including (left) Archie Smith, 5, and Taylor Physick, 6 — dressed in colours and clothes representing, among others, the UK, USA, France, Egypt, China and Japan.
The event was part of a project called Is Anyone Out There? focusing on where pupils and others live before finishing with a topic on space.
