Garden treat for prize draw winner
WINNER Julie O’Brien receives her garden vouchers.
A WOMAN from Bingham won a £200 gift voucher for East Bridgford Garden Centre after being entered in a prize draw competition to mark the launch of a new housing development in Newton.

Julie O’Brien was chosen at random to receive the prize after attending The Big Launch Event at the Newton Park development on Wellington Avenue.

Located on the former site of RAF Newton, it is an exclusive collection of executive new homes from housebuilders David Wilson East Midlands and Bellway.

The two joined forces to host an aviation-themed launch event.

Around 300 people attended but Julie O’Brien was chosen to receive the prize.

She said: “I was so pleased when I got the call to say I had won.

“I never win anything so it came as a complete surprise, but a pleasant one.

“We had a great day at the launch event and I would like to thank both David Wilson and Bellway for the vouchers. I’m already looking forward to spending them.”

Mr Philip Lacey, sales director at David Wilson, said: “As a thank you to visitors for joining us in celebrating the launch of our new Newton Park development, we offered them the chance to enter a free prize draw to win vouchers to the nearby East Bridgford Garden Centre.

“It’s a great amenity for residents living here and we hope that Julie enjoys spending her vouchers.”

Mr Ben Smith, sales director at Bellway, said: “We had a fantastic day celebrating the launch of the development in Newton.

“We received a lot of positive feedback from the visitors who viewed our show homes and we hope it signalled the start of something special there.”

David Wilson is building a selection of spacious four and five-bedroomed family homes at Newton Park, priced from £249,995.

Bellway offers a range of four and five-bedroom homes, from £212,950.
