The Newark Working Men’s Club Archers’ march towards a fifth consecutive Premiership League title continued unabated after their comfortable 6-3 victory over the Horse and Gears Lost Boys in the Newark and District Double Board Darts League.
The Archers are now 25 points clear at the top of the table and also occupy the top three positions in the Singles League.

Captain and reigning champion Paul Gallacher retains pole position despite suffering his third loss of the season at the hands of Kevin Oxberry, whose five point haul pushed him into the final end of season qualification place in eighth.

Mick Pitchford, who has lost just once this season, against tenth-placed Pete Baldwin, is only two points adrift of his team-mate in second place, while Nev Squires remains in third despite defeats against Phil Binns and Oxberry.

Premiership new boys, the Bathley Outcasts, retained second spot after a slender 5-4 victory over RAFA PDC.
