Balderton were indebted to their bowlers as they pulled off a vital 20-point victory in the South Notts League Division A relegation scrap at home to Attenborough on Saturday.

Ian Sellars of Balderton is pictured on his way to a four-wicket haul in his side’s vital 20-point success against Attenborough in the relegation battle in South Notts League Division A on Saturday.
The visitors batted first at Coronation Street Playing Fields and were bowled out for just 93 in 42.1 overs as Paul Colcomb took four for 24 and Ian Sellars finished with figures of four for 34.
Balderton cantered to their target in reply for the loss of only three wickets. Dominic Wiffin led the way with an unbeaten 36.
The win took Balderton out of the relegation zone, with Attenborough replacing them in the bottom two.
Southwell are also looking safe after they recorded their seventh victory of the season — matching their win tally last summer when they finished fourth from bottom.
