On a blustery Tuesday afternoon at Southwell Racecourse, the only track in the UK running, Ghostwing, ridden by Fergus Sweeney, set a new course record of 56-80 seconds for five furlongs.
The previous record of 57-14 was set by Godfrey Street in January 2008.
