A tense extra-time victory over Newark Alliance Premier Division rivals Farndon United at Marsh Lane means Coddington will travel to Eagle Valley, the home of Arnold Town, for the final on April 18.
Joe Braithwaite’s individual effort in the added 30 minutes was all that separated the two sides after two-hours of football.
Assistant manager Ian Watson said: “It is what we set out to do and we have done it.
“We said before the game that we had to treat the match like it was the cup final if we were going to get there.
“It is a big honour to represent not only ourselves and the team, but also the area in a county cup final. It is not something that comes around very often.”
The last time Coddington appeared in the cup final was 1986, when they won 2-0. They also reached the final in 1985, but were beaten 2-0 on that occasion.
This time round they will face Mansfield outfit Old Mill, who beat Burton Joyce 2-0 in the other semi-final.
