FOUR — RHP Social are jolly good fellows
12:57pm Wed May 26, 2010
RHP Social made footballing history in the town on Sunday afternoon when they became the first Newark Alliance side to win all four trophies in a season.
The new Willie Hall Trophy is in safe hands as RHP Social goalkeeper and captain Garry Attwood lifts more silverware this season. The £750 cup replaces the old trophy which has been contested since 1968 and is now being offered to Millgate Museum.
With the Alliance Senior Division title under their belts, and the Sam Arnold Memorial Trophy and Notts Sunday Senior Trophy already sitting on the shelves at Elm Avenue, they went into the game at Lowfields knowing that they were on the cusp of greatness.
