Illsley’s getting better all the time

Lewis Illsley was the top performer for Newark Swimming Club as he recorded a hat-trick of wins in the fourth round of the Sports Centre Gala League.
Home advantage lifted the team once again, inspiring them to second place at Balderton’s Grove Leisure Centre, as they finished with 12 wins and 17 personal best times.
Illsley also featured in an exciting victory in the cannon, with the Newark team winning by nearly a length.
