Kelley is Newark’s cross-country king

Doug Kelley produced Newark Athletic Club’s highest ever position at the National Cross-country Championships.
Doug Kelley had a record-breaking run at the English National Cross-country Championships, finishing in the highest ever position by a Newark athlete in the senior men’s race.
It was a tough 12K course with heavy mud, and the conditions were extremely cold at the Roundhay Park venue in Leeds.
