Nashed dilemma ahead of crunch clash
1:05pm Wed Jan 25, 2012
Newark Rugby Club head coach Bob Nashed has some tough selection decisions to make before Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash at home to Market Bosworth, kick off 2.15pm.
Unbeaten Newark face the second-placed Leicestershire club having been boosted by the return to fitness and availability of their main players.

Centre Alex Moore looks set to return alongside Aloesi Waqalevu in midfield but Nashed’s hardest decisions will come at halfback and upfront.

Matt Cox and Matt Clark were the halfbacks in Newark’s last game, against Moderns two weeks’ ago, but Nashed has the option of fielding former club captain Danny Coen at either scrum-half or fly half.

Danny’s brother Chris is also back in action and he is competing for a place in the back row alongside Aaron Riley who has made a successful comeback from a shoulder injury sustained at the end of last season.
