Newark ladies take a step closer to title

The Newark Hockey Club Ladies 1st XI turned on the style against the club’s 2nd XI to chalk up a 14-1 win in the Notts Premier League at the Magnus Sports Centre on Saturday morning.

The victory made it 15 wins out of 15, and another one at bottom two side University of Nottingham 3rds tomorrow will see the Newark club seal the title and earn promotion to the Midlands League.
