Pitchford has season to remember

Mick Pitchford of the Castle and Falcon BBC swept the board in the Newark and Treble Board Darts League.
He and his team-mates romped to the Men’s Division One title, winning 16 of their 18 games, to finish five-points clear of the runners-up, Horse and Gears Krustys.
Pitchford also won the men’s singles title, beating Mick McMakin of the Watermill, and then teamed up with Richard Burroughs to win the men’s pairs competition by seeing off the challenge of Rob Dennis and Rob Coggins of the Horse and Gears Krustys.

Men’s pairs: Richard Burroughs and Mick Pitchford (Castle and Falcon BBC) beat Rob Dennis and Rob Coggins (Horse and Gears Krustys). Ladies’ pairs: Eleanor Dunn and Jackie Dennis (Horse and Gears Fillies) beat Sheila Ward and Shirley Vanderson (Horse and Gears Loonies). Mixed pairs: Mick McMakin and Helen Cashin (Watermill) beat Paul Hartley and Eleanor Dunn (Horse and Gears).
