Rainbow is left beaming

Nikki Rainbow was in fine finishing form as she hit all four checkouts in her side’s 4-1 victory over the White Swan Cygnets in the Ladies’ Division of the Newark and District Double Board Darts League.
The superb display by the Newark Working Men’s Club Avengers captain enabled her unbeaten side to leapfrog their opponents into third spot, leaving themselves just nine points adrift of the leaders despite having played three games less.

The current leaders are the Castle and Falcon Ladies who had a terrific 4-1 away success at Cafferatas, with Mandy Walker hitting two of the finishes.

Reigning champions Newark Working Men’s Club Youngers remain in second spot after they came from behind to edge out Horse and Gears Boozers.

The bottom of the table side appeared to be heading for their first win of the campaign after Dot Hallam checked out in the opening two legs.
