Wells joins Falcons staff 4:38pm Wed Feb 01, 2012 Newcastle Falcons have added ex-Newark Rugby Club star John Wells to their coaching staff on a deal until the end of the season. John Wells Former England fowards coach Wells, 48, again links up with former national team colleague Mike Ford and the Falcons' new director of rugby Gary Gold. Wells, a former Leicester Tigers head coach who spent six years with England moves to Kingston Park as a specialist coach. The Aviva Premiership strugglers are currently nine points adrift of Wasps at the bottom of the table.
