MILLS- On July 15, 1999, peacefully after a short illness, in Newark Hospital, Kathleen, aged 78 years, of Farndon. The dearly loved widow of John, sister of Belinda, aunty of Denise and David and great-aunty of Matthew, Amy and Robin. Remembered always. PHILLIPS- On July 8, 1999, at Little Oaks Nursing Home, Addie (nee Stansall), aged 88. Beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved auntie of Denise and John. Cremation took place at Grantham Crematorium yesterday, Thursday, July 15, after a service at St Giles' Church, Balderton.

PURNELL- On July 8, 1999, peacefully in Park View Nursing Home, Newark, Charles William (Charlie), formerly of Whitfield Street, Newark, aged 88 years. Reunited with his wife, Hilda, after 51 years. The much loved dad of Trevor, father-in-law of Val and devoted grandad to Marie and Natalie. Now in God's care. Funeral service at Charles Street Methodist Church, followed by interment at Newark Cemetery, took place yesterday, Thursday, July 15, 1999. Donations in his memory for the Macmillan Nurses Services may be sent to G. E. Rose Funeral Directors.

WARD- On July 10, 1999, Harold, passed away peacefully, aged 75 years. A dearly loved father, sadly missed by daughters, Kathryn and Lindsay, brother Alan and sister-in-law Pam, and sons-in-law, Tim and Nigel. Funeral service will take place at St Mary and All Saints' Church, Bingham, on Monday, July 19, at 2.45pm, followed by cremation at Wilford Hill. Family flowers only, please, by request.
