GHORBAL- STOKER- On August 9, 2000, in Scotland to Richard and Helen (nee Stoker) a son, Alexander, first grandchild to Allan and Sue.

HINDSON- On August 10, 2000, in Lincoln County Hospital to Mark and Jane (nee Smith) the precious gift of a beautiful baby girl, Jessica Mae, 5lb 15oz, a lovely sister for Lauren. Many thanks to Mr Vogt and everyone concerned.

ROBERTS- On August 10, 2000, to Dave and Heather (nee Stark) a daughter, Hollie Elizabeth, 8lb 7oz, a sister for Matthew.

Deaths

ANDERSON- On August 7, 2000, suddenly in King's Mill Hospital, Mary Elizabeth (Betty), aged 66 years. Much loved wife of Robert, loving mum of John and Laura, and a beloved grandmother. Will be sadly missed and remembered always by all her loving family.

REID- On Sunday, August 13, 2000, peacefully in Rutland Memorial Hospital, Oakham, after a long illness, courageously borne, Freda, of Manton in Rutland, formerly of Screveton, Nottinghamshire, aged 67 years.
