APPLEBY- On August 21, 2000, Geoffrey Goveland, died suddenly in Newark Hospital, aged 82. Dearly loved husband of Marian, devoted dad to Elizabeth, Janet and Martin and their families, beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by the whole family and all who knew him. Funeral service to be held at Winthorpe Church on Wednesday, August 30 at 2.30pm, followed by cremation at Grantham.
