Deaths

BUST- On May 18, 2000, peacefully at home, Eric, in his 70th year. Sweetheart and husband of Eleanor, loving father of Pat, Karen, Simon and Bridget, respected father-in-law of David, Dougy, Jane and Andrew, dear grandad of Katie, Amy, James, Rachel and Jonathan. DIBB- On May 17, 2000, in Newark Hospital, Barbara Mary, of The Troc Residential Home, Newark, and previously of Long Bennington, aged 89 years. Headmistress of Lilley and Stone High School, Newark, 1947-1971. Much loved friend, aunt and great-aunt. Funeral at St Swithun's Church, Long Bennington, on May 27, 2000, at 10.45am, followed by cremation. No flowers by request, but donations to Notting Hill Housing Trust, c/o E. GADSBY- On May 11, 2000, peacefully in King's Mill Hospital, Doug, aged 75 years, of Balderton, formerly of Hawtonville. Beloved husband of Phyl, dearly loved dad of Irene Joyce, father-in-law of Roy, and a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service took place yesterday, Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Main Street Methodist Chapel, Balderton, followed by cremation. Donations, if desired, for the British Heart Foundation may be sent to G. E. Rose Funeral Directors.

MORLEY- On May 11, 2000, Dorothy (Dolly). A dear friend who will be sadly missed. From Jean, Peter and family.

OLIVER- On May 16, 2000, peacefully in Red Rose Nursing Home, Florence Annie (Nan), aged 95. Dear wife of the late Willis (Bill), precious mother of Pat and the late Jerry, dearly loved nana and great-nana. Reunited with Bill and Thursday, May 25 at 1pm, followed by cremation at Grantham.
