BARKER- On August 27, 2000, suddenly, in his garden, after a long illness bravely borne, Peter Willis, aged 72 years. Beloved husband of Christine, devoted father of Richard, Martin and Jonathan, loving father-in-law to Sue, Julie and Rachel, adored grandpa of Reece, Kyle, Shaun, Lewis, Jack, Leah and Peter. Service at St Mary's Church, Car Colston, on Monday, September 4, at 1pm, followed by cremation. No flowers, by request. BROWN- On August 27, 2000, peacefully in Beaumond House, Cyril. Brother of Mavis and George, brother-in-law of Gladys and Pauline. God bless. Always remembered, sadly missed.

BURN- On August 29, 2000, suddenly in Newark Hospital, after a short illness, Alan, aged 63. Dearest husband of Shirley, father of Tracy, father-in-law of Richard, and a much loved grandad of Alex and Joe. He will be sadly missed. Funeral inquiries to E. Gill and Sons Ltd.


COX- On August 24, 2000, suddenly but peacefully in Newark Hospital, Harry, aged 75 years, of Farndon. The dearly loved husband of Mildred, devoted dad of Howard and Patricia, father-in-law of Glenys and Phillip, and beloved grandpa of Mark, Liz and Dean. Remembered always. Funeral service at St Peter's Church, Farndon, followed by cremation at Grantham, took place on Wednesday, August 30, 2000.
