ARCHER- On December 29, 2000, in Derby Hospital to Michael and Amanda (nee Willis) a son, Jared. A brother for Corbin. Love from all the family.

DAVIDSON- On January 6, 2001, in the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, to Philip and Tania (nee Lawrence) a son, Michael William Lawrence, 8lb 11oz. Welcome grandson for Jane and Bill.

ELLAM- On January 8, 2001, in Lincoln County Hospital to Barry and Alison a daughter, Bethany Jade, sister for Leah.

Deaths

DE JONG- On January 5, 2001, Jennifer (nee Smith), formerly of Balderton, died suddenly at her home at Brabraham Farms, Brabraham, Cambs, aged 57. Devoted wife of Chris and dearest only daughter of Bessie and the late Harry.

DEMPSTER- On December 26, 2000, peacefully in Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Bill, aged 70. Much loved husband of Isobel, devoted father of Billy and Jacqueline, and Nicola. For ever in our hearts. Funeral took place on January 4, 2001.

GORDON- On January 8, 2001, peacefully in Newark Hospital, Norman, aged 87 years, of Winthorpe. The dearly loved husband of the late Sadie, dear father of Diana and Eileen, and a beloved grandpa. Funeral service at Grantham Crematorium takes place on Friday, January 19, 2001 at 11.45am. Family flowers only, please. MACZEWSKA- On January 3, 2001, peacefully in Lincoln County Hospital, Mary, of Elston, aged 89 years. Wife of the late Wladyslan. Sadly missed by all her family and friends.
