OLIVER On January 24, 2007, Herbert Winston (Scruph), aged 66 years, died in Bristol from a brain tumour. Born in Bramley Hall, Handsworth, Sheffield, but locally known from Ladywood Farm, Weston. An RAF pilot for 18 years and commercial pilot until 2005, his passion for flying extended to the organising of an air show for five years whilst based on the Isle of Man, his home for 15 years. He leaves four children and three grandchildren. The funeral service will take place today, Friday, February 2 at 12.30pm, in the South Bristol Crematorium.
