Night of Champions 2010
Sunday 17th October 2010 at Everyday Champions Church, Newark
In our community there are many people who are champions in everyday life. People who have overcome tremendous difficulties and challenges in life to make positive achievements, people who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve others in our community, people who have used ordinary situations as an opportunity to do something extraordinary. These are people who have set a standard for us in what it means to have a Champion Spirit.
We want to recognise and honour these everyday champions. So on Sunday 17th October, we will be holding a glittering awards evening where we will pay tribute to local people who are shining examples of the Champion Spirit.
Our Ten Categories are:-

* Champion Teacher
* Champion in Retirement
* Champion Child 0-11 years
* Champion Young person 11-18 years
* Champion Volunteer
* Champion Carer
* Champion Student
* Champion Community Organisation
