The Castle and Falcon Ladies moved a step closer to a maiden Newark and District Double Board Darts League title as they took advantage of their main challenger’s defeat.

Last season’s runners-up have moved 14 points clear at the top after a comfortable 4-1 away win at bottom of the table Watermill Artists, with captain Dot Town on target with two checkouts.
