Restaurant plans refused

Plans for two restaurant units at a multi-million pound Newark development have been refused by Newark and Sherwood District Council.

Parking is a concern

The loss of free on-street parking at The Wharf is causing concern for two businessmen but they feel the long-term benefits of the development outweigh the short-term inconvenience.
