Bingham 15-year-old who went on mini crime given youth rehabilitation order at Nottingham Magistrates' Court
A 15-year-old who went on a mini crime wave was sentenced to a youth rehabilitation order by Nottingham magistrates.
The youth, from Bingham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on one day in August of last year, failed to stop a vehicle for police that he didn’t have a licence or insurance to drive.
He was also found to be in possession of a machete.
The youth will be subject to intensive supervision and surveillance during the length of the order and is subject to electronically-monitored night-time curfew for three months.
He was also prohibited from associating with two named individuals.
He admitted all of the offences and was told to pay £107 in costs.
A 17-YEAR-OLD from Newark who inflicted grievous bodily harm on someone was sentenced to a youth rehabilitation order.
The boy, who also cannot be named, was found guilty after trial and must pay the victim £2,500 compensation.
A MAN who breached coronavirus regulations to attend a gathering at a house in Gamston was fined £1,760 by magistrates.
Nathaniel Hartland, 23, of Kestrel Drive, Bingham, had the case against him proven.
Hartland breached tier four regulations, which were that you must stay at home and only travel for work, education or other legally permitted reasons.
He must also pay £261 costs.
A MAN who had a lock knife on a Newark street was conditionally discharged for a year at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
Jordan Kerr admitted to having the weapon on Bede House Lane. The 29-year-old, of Camdale Lane, Fernwood, was also told to pay £107 in costs.
A DRIVER who failed to provide a specimen of breath of breath for a police investigation was fined £180 and banned from the roads for 36 months.
Philip Blagden, 53, of Carnarvon Place, Bingham, had denied the offence but went on to admit it. He was also told to pay costs of £119.
A SECOND driver to fail to provide a specimen was fined £300 and told to pay costs of £652.
Carlie Machado, 33, of Harris Road, Bingham was found guilty at a magistrates’ court trial.
She was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
A DRINK-DRIVER was banned from getting behind the wheel for 14 months and fined £250.
Rees Clayton, 27, of Hickling Way, Cotgrave, admitted to having 40mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Clayton was instructed to pay £119 costs.
