Pub managers Mark Froggatt from The Sir John Arderne, Church Street, and Stephen Wilson at The Butter Cross, Market Place, said they will offer an excellent range that has not previously been available before.

Both bars will introduce new kinds of gins from Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Italy.

"We are confident that our customers will enjoy the different gins that each have their own unique appeal," they said.

The enticing flavours include ginger and cinnamon, fresh strawberry, grapefruit, rhubarb, marmalade, watermelon, berries and orange blossom.

The measures can be paired with a range of drinks, including apple juice, bitter lemon, fizzy rhubarb, ginger ale and lemonade.

Non-alcoholic options will also be available during the festival, appealing to drinkers across the board.

Prices will range from £2.80 to £3.30 for a single drink including a free mixer.

The festival will take place from Friday, February 14, to Sunday, March 1.
