Confirmed coronavirus cases in Nottinghamshire reaches 1,089, says Public Health England

There are now 1,089 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nottinghamshire, Public Health England has revealed.

The figure is up 59 since yesterday. Nottingham city itself has 518 confirmed cases, up 30 since yesterday.

According to the latest public data — 171,253 patients in the UK have tested positive and 26,771 people have died.

Figures include deaths in all UK settings and are only broken down by upper tier or unitary authorities, meaning district-level numbers are not available.
