Flowers, chicks and eggs adorned Easter bonnets created by youngsters at Bingham Day Nursery.

All 135 children will parade in front of staff and parents today.

They have spent this week creating the bonnets.

Each room created a different design based on the theme of Easter and spring.

The youngsters were given a range of materials including tissue paper, wool and cardboard.

Nursery manager Mrs Liz Mewton said it was the first time they had held an Easter bonnet parade for a couple of years.

“There has been glue and paint everywhere,” she said.

Parents were also invited to make their own bonnets.
