A1 southbound closed between North Muskham and Winthorpe following three-way collision near Newark

A collision involving a camper van, a car and a lorry has closed a major road near Newark.

The A1 southbound, north of the A46 interchange, is currently blocked because of the collision.

The closure is between the North Muskham turn off and the Winthorpe roundabout.

Newark Police are at the scene.

There have been no reports of any injuries, but the road is expected to be closed for some time while the vehicles and debris are cleared. A diversion is in place.
