More than £6,500 raised for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance through two fundraising efforts




Just over £6,500 has been raised for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance through two fundraising efforts.

Power walker Kevin Hempsall, who completed a 39-mile walk from Lincoln Castle to Belvoir Castle via Newark Castle last month, has raised a total of £6,155 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Kevin, of North Hykeham, had set a target of £5,000.

More than £400 was raised for the same cause through a sponsored bike ride.

Leighton Topham and his friend Jamie Mawer, both of Nottingham, rode from Nottingham to the RAF Balderton memorial and back on September 26.

Mr Topham is a part of the RAF Balderton Research Group.
