As temperatures begin to climb again, it's important to remember how to stay safe in the heat as we enjoy the sunshine.
The East Midlands Ambulance service today issued advice ahead of the predicted 30C and above weather due to bake the region in the coming days.
On social media channels the service advised the public to be responsible by:
- Spending time in the shade when the sun is at its strongest (usually between 11am-3pm)
- Stay hydrated
- Use high factor sunscreen
- Check on vulnerable people as well as elderly family and neighbours
