Win tickets and vouchers for Field Dog Fairs’ Antiques Weekend at Southwell Racecourse
The ever-popular Antiques Weekend returns to Southwell Racecourse later this month offering a whole host of bargains and collectables.
Hosted by Field Dog Fairs, the fair will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 24-25, from 10am-4pm both days.
And we have teamed up with the organisers to offer readers the chance to win admission tickets and vouchers to spend at the event.
Visitors to the Antiques Weekend will find a broad, eclectic range of items, from furniture to collectables, jewellery to artwork, gardenalia, interiors and much more.
There will also be a range of food and drink stalls available.
The event also welcomes the team from BBC’s Bargain Hunt, who will be filming all weekend.
Over the weekend visitors can step into an enchanting world, where even the humblest of objects have a story to tell.
One such treasure is known as treen, a delightful term used to a wide variety of wooden objects mostly associated with tableware, the kitchen, games & personal adornment. These beautifully simple objects, from spoons to snuff boxes, were often hand-carved and lovingly used in centuries past.
