Sherwood Police are appealing for information after this attack on a tractor in Boughton

Police are appealing for information after a tractor and its driver were attacked yesterday evening.

Last night at around 7pm, an object was thrown at a moving tractor travelling along Main Road, Boughton by a group of youths, injuring the driver.

This photograph, issued by Sherwood Police, shows the damage this object caused.

A spokesman said: "This idiotic act could have cost the driver his life. If anyone has any information relating to this crime, please call 101 quoting incident number 799-11112019."
