Do you recognise this fly-tip found near Cotham?

By Rachel Armitage

Do you recognise this fly-tip? This huge pile of dumped rubbish was found on the corner of Grange Lane and Cotham Lane in Newark yesterday, and Newark and Sherwood District Council are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesman said: "Fly-tipping is a serious criminal office and carries a fine of up to £50,000 and five years' imprisonment.

"Your waste is your responsibility and if you pay someone to remove rubbish from your property and it’s then fly-tipped you could also be prosecuted."
